Christine Keane is an associate with Ziegler Legal Services. In her practice, Christine advises individuals and families on a broad range of estate planning, estate administration, and trust administration matters. Christine considers the unique needs of each client, from basic wills and estate plans to sophisticated strategies designed to minimize federal and state taxes on the transfer of wealth. Christine also advises Trustees and Personal Representatives on trust and estate administration duties and best practices, prepares estate tax returns, and represents clients in probate court.

Christine previously practiced in the trusts and estates departments of two large Massachusetts law firms. She has written and spoken on a variety of estate planning topics. Christine was recognized as a “Rising Star” by Boston Magazine Super Lawyers in 2012 and 2013.

While in law school, Christine was a James Wilson Scholarship recipient and received the Gordon A. Block Award for outstanding work in wills. She was also a senior editor for the Journal of Labor and Employment Law. Christine served as a summer judicial intern for The Honorable Judge James R. Melinson in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

While in college, Christine was a Holy Cross Scholarship recipient and received the O’Hagan Award for her senior honor thesis.

Affiliations +

Christine has been a member of the Boston Bar Association, and previously served as co-chair of its Trusts and Estates Continuing Legal Education (“CLE”) Committee and co-chair of its Estate Planning Fundamentals Committee. She was a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council, and served on its Women’s Initiative Committee. Christine has also been a member of the Trusts and Estates Consortium.

Originally from St. Petersburg, Florida, Christine resides in Westwood, Massachusetts with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys cooking, traveling, and going on adventures with her family.
